4.What has inspired you to focus on circles?
I started with my black and white circle art just randomly while trying to find my style. After completing a couple black and white circle pieces I started to wonder about the meaning of a circle. I found many spiritual and cultural meanings that I connected with and decided that I would continue exploring the circle shape in my artwork.
5. How do you create your black and white artwork?
The black and white that are behind glass I start by creating circles with a stencil and by hand. I continue doing this until I feel a piece is complete and fill in the white of the paper with a rapidograph ink pen. The black and white that are on round wood panels, I first attach the paper onto the wood before starting my drawing process on there. After paper is attached I continue just like the framed black and white art.
